Developer activity RREE and CLEANTECH

The task of site development is absolutely crucial for any type of green project and includes, among others, the following Tesmac-Ecoplus services:

  • Negotiation with owners
  • Obtaining permits (environmental, network study, construction permits, social impact)
  • Negotiation with the electricity company
  • Formulation of a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement or Energy Purchase Contract)
  • Financial study for banks and investors
  • Presentation of documents to the Department of Energy
  • Permit of commercial activity
  • Obtaining the off-taker contract (buyers of the energy or fuel produced)

Feasibility studies

We can start the feasibility study from the very beginning of the project. We help the developer to visualize the size and limitations of the project. We carry out measurements on site (from the analysis of the available data to the assembly and commissioning of the meteorological masts). We give presentations to the local community, government agencies and, in general, to all interested parties (including potential funders).

Energy evaluation

We carry out an exhaustive analysis of the data to give an estimate of the energy performance taking into account all the relevant aspects of the orography and layout, including the estimation of the management of the sector, the losses due to wakes, the electrical losses, the availability and scheduled maintenance, etc.

Estimated px according to the quality of the measurement devices and the climatic characteristics. Long-term correlations are established when long-term data from nearby weather stations are available.

The different phases

  • Phase I - Development - 12 - 36 months
  • Phase II - Construction and financial structuring - 6 -12 months
  • Phase III - Operation (IPP) O&M - 25 - 40 years

More about these phases

  1. Initial development: land with closed agreement. Positive initial evaluation. Connection and environment in process.
  2. Advanced development: connection with closed agreement. Other agreements closed. In the process of assessing the resource (in wind power).
  3. Ready to build “R2B”: All permits obtained. PPA or spot price in process.
  4. Construction (up to “COD”): project in the construction phase.
  5. In production (“IPP”): project.
  6. Sold and with O&M: project in operation sold to a third party.
